Major Giving Made Easy with Salesforce! 3 Strategies for Nonprofit Fundraising
Wednesday May 8 with LA Tech4Good

Russ Feldman and Janet Levine will guide you through 3 simple strategic approaches for taking your major giving program to new levels - or starting one from scratch - and how you can customize Salesforce to make it achievable for any size organization.

Everyone knows that your donor database is your most important tool to capture the major gifts that will transform your organization and fuel your mission. But in the day to day of going through the fundraising motions with the same old supporters, it can seem impossible to break through to new major donors or move your existing ones to higher levels of engagement. It doesn't have to be!

    Presenters:
Russ Feldman, CEO, Mission Professionals LLC, Salesforce consultant and community leader
Janet Levine, Owner, Janet Levine Consulting, Nonprofit consultant, trainer and presenter

On Wednesday, May 29, at 11am PDT, I will present an online class with NTEN, "Data Driven Fundraising". Here, we will take a high level view as well as a deep drive on how to collect, organize and utilize organization's data to derive insights into donors and campaigns, as well as the organization's own operations, using data.

This class is useful not only to fundraising and development folks but also helpful for leadership and board members, as well as folks who work for teams surrounding core fundraising operations, who are interested in learning about information management and information systems.

    About this Event

How are you setting your nonprofit organization apart internally & externally? What are top nonprofit organizations doing to stay ahead of the curve for donors, members, and employees? Join us for a breakfast discussion to learn more.

Hear how organizations like the Human Rights Foundation and the Lupus Foundation are using cryptocurrency fundraising as a way to differentiate themselves in a crowded field of nonprofits. Not only has this proven to be a unique fundraising tool, but also an engagement strategy for an entirely new (and often younger) donor base that is helping spread awareness about their causes.

Hear how organizations like the Pat Tillman Foundation and Hot Bread Kitchen are able to diminish the distractions of running their organizations in order to spend more time building relationships and fundraising. Too often concerns around generational employee issues, total rewards, vendor relationships, legislative changes, etc keep executives from focusing on the mission and moving the organization forward. Hi everyone!

Have you wondered what the damage to your mission and your fundraising would be should you suffer a substantial hack, particularly of personal data? Have you wondered what it would cost to rebuild your IT system should you suffer a breach?

Have you wondered if there is insurance for that?

We've had a lot of feedback and questions from organizations who wanted to learn more about Cyber Insurance; what it is and if you need it.

We're happy to co-present a webinar with our partners at Aon. Aon has a dedicated Cyber Solutions practice and will be able to provide some definitions and clarity on the topic.

Cyber Security and Cyber Insurance for Nonprofits - Wednesday, May 22 from 3-4pm EDT.

As with all our webinars, this is not a sales pitch and we won't be hounding you if you sign up. Our friends Morgan Grady and Peter Burch at Aon Insurance know a lot more about Cyber Insurance than we do, and have offered to answer your questions on this complicated and very new insurance product.

Have you heard of Cyber Insurance policies? Have you considered a policy? Do you wonder what cyber security tools and procedures you would need to have in place to comply with the terms of a Cyber Insurance policy?

Please submit your questions in advance when you register so that we can be sure to tailor the session to you and your organization.

There will be a 15 minute live Q&A at the end of the webinar with the Cyber Insurance experts from Aon.

Earlier this month, we explored the topic of "Tackling a Major Redesign" with Rachel Roberts, from the Council for the Support and Advancement of Education (CASE) , and Molly Mattessich from Forum One. It was a great discussion about the major components of a redesign and included a very rich Q&A.

The recording is now available here. Enjoy!

    Tackling a Major Website Redesign

Your digital communications strategy is filled with small updates and tweaks to better reach your audiences and goals. When it comes to your website, ongoing changes may include modifying the navigation experience to make it easier for users to find the information they are looking for, or taking on a new content strategy approach that better connects with people.

While these iterative tactics play an important role, every 2-5 years, your website is likely in need of a major redesign. And for many, the mere thought of tackling this can be daunting. We hear you and are here to help.

In this webinar, you'll hear about:

    • How to effectively take stock of an existing website in order to plan for a new one
    • Insights on who needs to be involved, what decisions to take before you start, and how to plan your "Roadmap," a long-term blueprint for your website as part of your digital ecosystem
    • How much time it really takes once you've begun the process
    • Insider tips to help you help your project team
    • What the experience is like from someone who's been in your shoes
By the end of the webinar, you'll have a good understanding of practical first steps and tips to take as you consider embarking on your website design and development process.
