On January 15th at high noon (eastern time), RoundTable Technology is offering the Best Free One-Hour Cybersecurity Awareness Training Ever.

Cybersecurity awareness training is one of the easiest and most cost-effective things you can do to improve digital security at your organization. And yet, according to NTEN's 2018 State of Nonprofit Cybersecurity Report, more than half of nonprofits do not provide ANY kind of security training to their staff. Let's change that!

Register to join us for a free cybersecurity awareness training. If you want to take advantage and train your entire organization, then book your conference room and invite your entire staff.  And if you want more incentive to get staff to attend, the webinar will include several live quizzes and the winner of each quiz will get a $100 gift card. Save your spot today.

    Happy New Year nonprofiteers!

Mighty Citizen is partnering up with Bloomerang on January 10 at 1:00 EST for a webinar called, "How to Write Effective Web Copy." If you create content for your nonprofit, you'll enjoy this webinar (Bonus: Andrew is hilarious!).

    Sign Up Now

    Here's the synopsis:
The Internet is bloated. Your users have limited attention spans. And websites everywhere are written with cliché, ambiguity, and scattershot messages.

But words matter! The wrong words - or worse, the forgettable words - can cost your organization countless opportunities. The right words can spark emotion, spur action, and start a lifelong relationship. Which are you going to pick?

By the end of this webinar, you should be able to:
    • Write for how people read online
    • Make your copy more readable
    • Make your messages "sticky"
This lively, funny, interactive session will send you scurrying back to your keyboard - ready to obsess over every. single. word.

    Sign Up Now

    Thanks,
    Rachel

Before you can present data to others, you need to collect and curate it, and you may need to otherwise process the data as well. How do you go about doing that in your work?

The NTEN Nonprofits and Data group will be hosting its first Data Community Call of 2019!
    • Thursday, January 24, at 2 p.m. ET/1 p.m. CT/12 p.m. MT/11 a.m. PT.
    • Our topic will be Preparing Data for Sharing and Visualization
We're trying out something new and encouraging people to share examples of visualizations/data storytelling to discuss on the call along with our discussion questions.  But you're welcome to hop in regardless to share your advice and your questions!

See the event listing for access information and how to add your data viz work to the gallery.

Hope to talk with you on January 24th!
