Bridging the Tech Divide in Latinx LA

LATech4Good, NTEN's LA tech club, is partnering with We'll Talk UX and InnovateLA to present Bridging the Tech Divide in Latinx LA on the evening of November 8.

Technology is everywhere and everything, yet, more than 24% households in LA don't have an internet connection at home. What's called the digital divide overwhelmingly impacts low-income Latinx immigrants. Given this challenge... How can nonprofits and the tech sector innovate together to solve this problem and most importantly connect to more users?

Four LA nonprofits – Institute of Popular Education of Southern California (IDEPSCA), Common Sense Latino, PBS SoCal and EveryoneOn – will represent, along with an IA/UX architect, and USC researchers will present their latest findings on broadband in Latino areas.

Hello! Join us for an "Ask the Experts" webinar on Selecting Nonprofit Software tomorrow, Wednesday Nov 14, from 4-5pm EST, with our partners at Build Consulting.  Nonprofit organizations often struggle to implement new software. But the seeds for successful implementations are planted long before, during the software selection process.

In this webinar, our experts will lead a discussion of why, to be successful with new software at your organization, technology must come last. Please submit your questions for this webinar in advance while registering! The path of our conversation will be directly shaped by your questions.

This webinar is appropriate for nonprofit executives, managers and nonprofit IT personnel – and as with all our webinars, it is appropriate for a varied audience.
