    Hello All:

My name is Alison Taggart-Barone, and I'm the Photo Editor for the Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy in San Francisco, Ca. I have the fantastic job of managing our digital images, which are heavily used by various departments in the Conservancy for everything from high quality print to social media. Currently we use Lightroom and Smug Mug to organize, process and make available our growing library of over 20,000 high quality images, and this collection represents the most comprehensive image history of our parks since about 2004. It will continue to grow quickly in the coming years.

Our current system is not easily scalable, and I'm looking for another platform for making images (and video) available. We need to automate the uploading and web publishing aspects, as well as increase, control and track the client usage of our images.

I'd appreciate any advice, experiences and vendor advice the NTEN community can give me.

    Thanks!

    Alison Taggart-Barone

Though I have not used it yet myself, my organization seems to be pretty happy with this solution:
Elvis DAM - Digital Asset Management System

Elvis DAM - Digital Asset Management System
Elvis DAM helps you to create incredible assets, and enables creatives to collaborate more effectively. All files are stored in a single location, giving you maximum control over when and where assets are used. Being an open platform with unlimited scalability, Elvis DAM is an instant fit in any organization's technology landscape.

    Hi Alison,

I'm from Spongelab Interactive. We work with non-profits, museums and science centres to create online exhibits and eLearning content.
We have a platform called STITCH that hosts digital content (photos, videos etc.) and helps your staff organize them on the back end with tags, descriptions and geodata.

You can drop me a line and we can chat about whether there's a fit: joseph.wilson@spongelab.com

Or you can check out some info at this link: Spongelab Corporate - STITCH

    Best,

    Joe
