We're launching a dental practice management podcast for our members called "Beyond the Mouth" later this year. The podcast will be a series of short, 20 - 30 minute, informal conversations that address a variety of practice topics, including business basics, health and wellness, employment law and other aspects of life as a dentist.
Using the talent directory found on the
Association of Independents in Radio (AIR) our team is working with an experienced local audio producer to record, edit and handle the audio logistics to create a polished, professional sounding podcast. We just completed the first eight episodes for the inaugural season and hope to launch the content in Q4.
I've attached several articles we found helpful during the early stages of our development. In addition, the Pew Research Center has an in depth
Audio and Podcasting Fact Sheet, in case you need data to support your reasons for launching a podcast.

Subject: Is anyone podcasting about their nonprofit?
We are preparing to launch "The Rural Health Voice", a podcast about rural health issues and was wondering if there are other podcasters out there.
