    I'm working with a small nonprofit to transition to a new CRM and marketing platform. They have about 11,000 supporters in their current CRM and need a new solution that is modern and user-friendly. It needs to be within a small budget (about $5K) and include the following:

    - Donation forms
    - Email communications and marketing functionality
    - Online forms
    - Advocacy
    - Robust reports for donations, emails, campaigns

    Any advice is much appreciated!

    Check out Action Network. We are also a small org (zero staff, ~10k on our email list) with a small budget and use Action Network for all the things you mention.

    Katelyn, which CRM are they coming from? What's the size of the development team? What other systems does the CRM need to speak with?

    At a $5k annual budget you're well within range of mid-level systems like Neon and Nationbuilder, but money may not be your real limiting factor. It's especially important to understand what support you need for donor stewardship and for direct mail campaigns. Many of the strong digital platforms don't have any functionality for direct mail and for batching check payments.

    CRMs are a complex challenge and selecting a CRM is my company's specialty. Please reach out if you're like to speak about your client's specific situation.
