Hey ya'll! So excited for my first #NTC!

I don't know about you but I can get pretty restless being inside and attending workshops for prolonged periods of time. I'm proposing - for anyone interested either beforehand or in the moment - a sort of ad-hoc walking group to meet up during the afternoon breaks each day for a quick breath of fresh air and stretching of legs. The conference basically concludes at 2:45 on Friday, so here are the breaks I see on the agenda that we could utilize:

    Wednesday: 2:45 - 3:15 pm
    Thursday: 2:30 - 3:00 pm

If you find yourself interested in joining, meet at Portland Roasting Coffee inside the Oregon Convention Center. We'll set out 10 minutes after the break starts - so that's 2:55pm on Wednesday and 2:40pm on Thursday.

Let me know if you're interested or have other thoughts/suggestions/questions! See ya'll soon!

P.S. I'm a Portlander so this is a rain or shine kind of deal for me. :D

Thanks for suggesting this idea! I walk almost every day during my lunch break in Virginia Beach so I would definitely be interested in joining the NTen walking group. See you soon!

Hi Brie - sounds like a great idea! Remember the Eastbank Esplanade is closed until April, so you may need to take a route over the Steele Bridge to Naito Parkway/West Esplanade. Hi Jane! Oh, yikes! It's so hard to keep track of all of the construction that's happening in the city right now. *eyeroll* Thanks for calling this out. I think what we'll probably end up doing is just heading where the winds will take us in the moment. Sometimes less planning is better. ;) Hope to see you next week!

Love this! I always find myself pacing hallways at conferences trying to get steps on my FitBit and usually people look at me like I'm crazy. I'm glad to see that there are others interested in getting in a walk! Count me in!
