We want to test using quizzes to engage people and get them to take action on Great Lakes issues. We're looking for a quiz platform that's shareable on social, and where the last step of the quiz could include a link to a pledge on our action center.

Does anyone have a quiz platform they like? Any tips on best practices for creating quizzes that lead to action?

Judy, I have been giving demonstrations lately for the H5P interactive content (from h5p.org) that can be easily incorporated into Drupal, WordPress, and Moodle sites. I am using it entirely to power my quiz-based voter education platform at voterspledge.org/challenge.

There is a slight learning curve in learning how it is implemented, but it pays off big time. I would be happy to provide further experience on it if you like. You can choose from many different types of content from multiple choice, fill-in-the-blank, drag-and-drop, math calculation, and even create combinations of these in sequences. You can even use it to render a Twitter feed -- they all are displayed in iFrames on your site and they all have their own simple and attractive styling and feedback for right/wrong answers.

    Judy -

We are in the process of switching from Qzzr to Riddle. We use personality quizzes to try to get email address and we are making the switch because we like the lead gen options available in Riddle more than what Qzzr offers. That being said, Qzzr does have a few "quiz" types that Riddle lacks.

Thanks, @Ted Spencer and @Alison Hinchman! Alison, could you share links to some of your most successful quizzes? I'd love to see what's working for you.

Judy - You can see all of them here https://savingplaces.org/story-categories/quizzes. The newer ones use Riddle, older use Qzzr. "What Architectural Style Are You?" is very popular. We use them as both lead gen and engagement.

We've been using TryInteract. There is a small fee ($200) for using the lead gen tools.

Here is an example from earlier this year:

And here is another that we used to promote a training we're doing (spoiler alert, the answer to this one is YES)

Love the examples, @Alison Hinchman and @Michael Leuthner! And it's important to remember that there are so many other uses for quizzes besides lead generation. Thank you for sharing!
