I'm hoping that someone in the group has a go-to plugin they like for managing Staff/Board/People profiles. I'm looking for your standard headshot + short bio + contact details profile with a nice overview page. Hopefully it would support multiple types of people so we could do Board and Staff on separate pages.
I've always built things like this custom and I've struggled to find a plugin I liked. Staffer seemed promising, but it hasn't been updated in two years (including some changes I submitted to them via GitHub!).
Any and all recommendations are greatly appreciated!

Really simple to use, has a basic template you can edit. You can categorise into staff, volunteers, board, whatever you want.
I have never used a plugin for staff page. It is easier to build a custom post type and a template. Here are some examples of the pages we have built using the same custom post type and template:
We built an intranet for a client a few months ago. We ended using the WOffice theme ($64) which works with BuddyPress to provide many features as part of a true intranet. There is a directory plugin called Business Directory Plugin (: https://wordpress.org/plugins/business-directory-plugin/ ) which built the staff directory. That's a free plugin that can stand by itself. It all works well.
