Thanks for starting the discussion Kristy!

On September 13, I'll be hosting a course on Advanced Digital Engagement in Fundraising starting at 11:00 PT.
This course will help you develop a framework for advanced fundraising campaigns across all digital channels and an understanding of how marketing funnels can create donors. Mark Santiago is the faculty for this training.

I'm really excited to see what questions people have for Mark to answer and the level of engagement learners have for examples that will come up with this topic. I see as of now, we have 21 people signed up for the course. You still have about a week to get registered!

Hello everyone!
Join us for Your Nonprofit IT Budget webinar tomorrow from 4-5pm EDT (Wednesday September 20)

Whether you are a freelance shop of one, or a large nonprofit with in-house IT staff, you will find our webinar interesting! We will take you through what IT needs must be covered in 2017-2018 (security, planned upgrades, etc.) and how to put a coherent budget together to cover them.
We know that putting the minimum expense into IT and hoping things turn out ok is probably not the best path – but how do you know where to put the best money in? This webinar will help get the conversation started, and is always one of our most popular of the year.

In our 15+ years of experience working exclusively with nonprofits, we have learned there is absolutely no "one-size-fits-all" budget document possible, and we won't be providing one. The wide variety in process, and in where IT reports, make us skeptical of universal budget templates. However, we do have advice on what *needs* to be included, and we will also provide ideas on describing your needs and the benefits of functional, secure IT to the non-techies at your nonprofit. Or to yourself if you work alone :)
If you miss it, the links to video will be posted to our website within a week. But we hope you can make it in person!

Baltimore, NY, Boston, Atlanta, DC & San Fran Networking Events - Fall 2017

Since there isn't yet an October thread I thought I would add these here.

Our community continues to come together for networking, fellowship, continued learning and promotion of social and behavior change strategies. Please attend one of SMANA's (http://smana.org) free upcoming networking events.

Events are coordinated by The Social Marketing Association of North America (SMANA) which is a membership organization serving the professional needs of behavior change agents in Canada, the Caribbean, Central America, Mexico, and the United States.

We advance behavior change for social good.

Our members are change agents from all sectors – social marketers, behavioral scientists and economists, conservation psychologists, environmental educators, behavior change communicators, cause marketer, entertainment educators, health communicators, design thinkers and the list goes on. SMANA members include practitioners, students and academics involved from both the environmental and health fields.

These events are free and open to all - whether you are a member, considering membership or would like to network with fellow change agents. Learn more about the benefits of joining this group here - http://smana.org/.
