1.  Virtual Volunteers taking client phone calls

Posted May 18, 2017 11:13
Does anyone know of specific programs/apps that does not pass on any costs to a volunteer to take phone calls from our clients? It also has to hide the volunteer's cell phone number both incoming and outgoing.  What are domestic violence programs doing that use virtual volunteers?  It would also be favorable if the client can call a toll free number.

Hi, Aurora! I'm not sure about phone calls, but Crisis Text Line has an all-virtual volunteer program. They're only using texting, but they also share a list of hotlines that can be called. I don't know if they have virtual volunteer programs, but it might be a place to start if you haven't checked with these organizations already. Hopefully someone else here has some great info for you!
